Our History

Gibson Emergency Management Dynamics Corporation (Gem Dynamics) is an emergency management consultancy firm headquartered in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

The firm was founded by Paula Gibson, a seasoned emergency management professional whose career spans emergency program management, response planning, industrial and mining sector emergency operations, crisis leadership, planning and training in complex northern environments.

Gem Dynamics was established to fill a recognized gap in both the international mining community and the Northern Ontario professional services landscape: a locally anchored, full-service emergency management consultancy with the depth of expertise, regulatory knowledge, and community relationships needed to serve northern municipalities and resource-sector clients with the same quality of service historically associated only with large southern Ontario or national firms.
